Hidramar Reina Sofia Quayside MODU
In 2015 Hidramar’s biggest project ever came true: The transformation into a shipyard in order to extend the range of provided services. The company secured a 25-year lease of an existing aggregate holding zone at the Reina Sofia pier and proceeded to the renovation of the existing area with aim to crate a new, secure world class quayside facility. Their strategy includes the demolition of a redundant warehouse and reclamation work to create a 5200m2 hard standing area; simultaneously the renovation of the remaining 2500m2 storage warehouses & transformation into a 2000m2 fabrication facility with 2 x 40MT over- head cranes and 2 x 20MT overhead cranes and 500m2 state of the art office and messing facility.
