GUANGZHOU WENCHONG DOCKYARD CO. LTD., (if brief GWD) set up on January 2016.

As one of the pillar ship repair yards of CSSC Group, GWD has inherited more than 60 years of experience in the filed of ship repairs from Wenchong Shipyard, pioneered the foreign ship repair business in China for many years.

GWD is located at Longxue Island, Nansha, one of the 3 main ship building hubs of China.  The site is in the heart of the Pearl River Delta, on the west bank of Pearl River, serving Hong Kong Port, Yantian Port,  Chiwan Port and there are five international airports for easy access to the yard.

GWD is well equipped with first class facilities and resources, with two (2) dry-docks of 200,000 DWT and 300,000 DWT, a wharf of 1,800 meters, modern production workshops and other facilities, which enable yard to undertake any kind of ship repair or conversion works of all types of vessels.
