CUD (Weihai) Shipyard Co. Ltd., belongs to Shandong Xinhong Group Co. Ltd., and was established in 2010. The main business scope of the yard is ship-repairing, ship-building & conversion projects of any kind. The yard is located in the golden waterway of north-south transportation routes (Location N: 36°50'20'' E: 122°16'00''), in the entrance of Bohai Bay, in the east of Jiaodong peninsula, adjacent to the South Korea. Transportation is very convenient as Weihai international airport is only 38 km from the yard and Qingdao international airport is 230 km. The average annual temperature is 12 degrees.

CUD (Weihai) Shipyard Co. Ltd. has a state class open port as well as an ice-free port, occupies an area of 4,400.000 sq. meters & owns two (2) drydocks for vessels up to 300,000 dwt. The length of the berths is 3,000 m with maximum draft 9.5 m. All production workshops of the yard are well equipped, with cutting edge technology machinery & the man power is more than 500 employees out of which 100 employees are highly educated technicians and management staff. The shipyard has obtained Quality Management System Certificates (GB/T19001-2016/ISO 9001:2015) of CCS and DNV.GL, to ensure that each product/service meets international standards and quality standards. It has more than 650 permanent employees out of which 100 persons are highly educated and experienced engineers and administrative/management staff.
