Chengxi Shipyard Co., Ltd., is a subsidiary corporation of China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited and a holding subsidiary of China CSSC Holdings Limited. As a significant marine enterprise with over 50 years of history, the company has formed a diversified development engaged in defence products, ship repair & shipbuilding, non-marine products, services etc. The company has four production bases including Jiangyin headquarter, Chengxi(Taizhou)Equipment Technology Co., Ltd, Chengxi Shipyard (Yangzhou) and the newly added Chengxi Shipyard (Guangxi) base in southern China. There are about 10,000 employees including 1,200 professional technicians and engineers. The company has an annual repairing and converting capacity of 200 vessels of various types up to 200,000 DWT, building capacity of 17 vessels of various types up to Kamsarmax, steel structure manufacturing about 200,000 tons and wind turbine tower fabricating about 500 sets.

Chengxi Shipyard Co., Ltd., has an annual capacity of repairing about 200 ships of various types. Chengxi Shipyard (Xinrong) Co. Ltd. is a joint venture corporation by Chengxi Shipyard Co., Ltd and HongKong Brilliant Hero Industrial Ltd., as a state-owned holding modern enterprise for shiprepairs & conversions. It is conveniently located at Xingang port in Jingjiang city, Jiangsu province, covering an area of 230,000 sq.m. Shipyard's specialized personnel consist of more than 240 engineers and technicians. There are two floating docks with deadweight capacity of 170,000 tons and 100,000 tons. Outfitting quay is 1060 m, the front water depth being 12-20 m and the main navigation channel 30 m. The quay has been equipped with shore crane with lifting capacity of 60 tons/70m x 2 sets, 50 tons/100m x 2 sets, 32 tons/72m x 2 sets. Steel workshop covers an area of 16,000 sq.m. Machinery & Electrical workshop covers an area of 20,000 sq.m. Piping workshop covers an area of 7,000 sq.m. Hatch covers paint cell covers an area of 10,000 sq.m. Hatch covers repair place covers an area of 30,000 sq.m with two sets gantry crane of 50 tons. The shipyard has been fully equipped with advanced ship repair facilities, and the company has been accredited and certificated by CSQA with QMS, EMS and OHSMS. The annual capacity of repair & conversion projects is between 120 to 150 vessels & offshore units.

Chengxi Shipyard Co., Ltd. is a leading subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited (CSSC) and a holding subsidiary of China CSSC Holdings Limited, located in Jiangyin City at the lower reaches of the Yangtze River in Jiangsu Province. The shipyard covers an area of 950,000 square meters and employs over 3,500 personnel, including approximately 800 marine engineers, naval architects, and technicians. Its strategic location adjacent to Shanghai, Nantong, and Zhangjiagang provides excellent waterway and road connectivity for both domestic and international maritime operations.

The Jiangyin facility features ten deep-water berths, five floating docks with capacities of 170,000, 120,000, 100,000, 80,000, and 50,000 tons, an 80,000-ton slipway, and a 1,600-ton floating crane. With an annual capacity of repairing over 600 vessels up to 300,000 DWT, building 25 newbuild vessels, and processing 150,000 tons of steel construction including over 1,000 wind turbine fabrication sets, Chengxi has established itself as one of CSSC's most productive and technologically advanced yards specializing in high-tech vessel construction and large-scale ship repair operations.
