ZHOUSHAN XINYA SHIPYARD is located at LIUHENG Isand - Donglangzui, Zhoushan city, in the core of Yangtse River Delta and although it is a rather new independent Ship-Repair Enterprise, has managed to create good reputation globally in a very short period. It was established in August 2002 and covers an area of 300,000 sq. meters and 60,000 sq. meters of building area, the whole investment was in the range of RMB 520 million with the target to handle 14 different kinds of big vessels, at the same time.

ZHOUSHAN XINYA SHIPYARD is accredited to ISO 9001:2000 Quality Control System and has nearly 2,600 staff controlled from the different departments like commercial, production, safety, quality, financial, machinery workshop, hull workshop, piping workshop, etc. The shipyard has managed to increase very rapidly during the past years and among the clients are shipping companies fromGreece,Germany,Italy,Norway,Russia,Indonesia,Singapore,Taiwan, etc.

ZHOUSHAN XINYA SHIPYARD is fully equipped with workshops for machinery works, pipe fabrication, metalworking, hull, electrical workshop, 35 KV transformer station, 2000 KW power – plant,400 m3 air compressor station and300 m3 mobile air compressors. Some of the equipment at shipyard’s premises:

• 7 sets of gantry cranes 60 tons x60 m( 4 sets for wharf, 3 sets for the drydocks)
• 21 sets of cherry pickers including 6 sets of SP 25 Type
• 13 sets of SP 21 Type
• 7 sets of forklifts 10 Tons
• 1 set of 50 Tons platform trailer
• 1 set of 500 Tons type hydro – presser
• AC/DC welding machines

Equipment is a guarantee of shipyard’s production and for that reason at their premises also operates special production equipment like DK 7738 electro – digitally controlled wire cutting lathe, plasma cutting machine, gantry cranes, etc.
